Fender American Deluxe Precision Bass V (5-String)
2004 model in Montego Black/Gold pickguard with Pau Ferro fretboard

    $1,350 shipped/insured CONUS with PayPal

I rarely see these posted on TB for sale, especially with 4+1 tuners. Please don't confuse with the much more common 4 string.
    NO TRADES!!!

I've owned both this and a 4 string of the same model for several years. I played probably 20-30 gigs on this in my old TX Country band. These days, the 4 is getting all the use with 90's alt rock band and a Roscoe has my 5 string needs met.

    Condition:
A solid 8.5/10, with one ding on the front body near the bridge and one on the back of the headstock. Little bit of rash on the back (it's black after all).
That's really about it. There may be a few other very minor things.

These are superb machines. I owned one exactly like this one and regretted ever putting in a trade deal. Now I am having a hard time affording another one. These are becoming rare and I can only hope that Fender starts building them again as they have the 4 string USA versions. Somebody is going to be very happy. GLWTS.

Bump with new pics I took for eBay. Final price drop too. eBay listing here - Fender American Deluxe Precision V 5 String Bass 885978375585 | eBay

Trying to capture the gold sparkle in the paint with some outdoor pics. Also showing blemish on back out headstock.

Shown with hideous gold Schaller strap locks, but I'll put on generic buttons.
Will ship with D'Addario nickel roundwound strings - EXL170-5SL 45-130.

We were called Sergio and the Outta Luck Band. We're famous in Whiteface, TX. :)

At one point, we cut 8 original tracks but never really did much with them. I tracked a few of them with this bass.

  11. Right on man. I ask because that's the scene I've been a part of for the last several years.I'd love to grab this little lady, but money is tied up in gear. If you open to trades, maybe trades+ cash then PM me.

I might be willing to meet in Carlsbad NM sometime this summer if it's still available. I have a weekender in mind with my kids. I could knock off $150 (down to $1250) for a local cash deal. Still not interested in trades.

Lots of offers and interest but still here for now.

Friday bump from Estes Park CO about 100 yards from Rocky Mtn National Park on the porch with a coffee and iPad. Life is good.

Haha I must have blinked in JennySlipper. Is that's town?

We played the Waylon Jennings Birthday Bash for 3 or 4 years and got to know everyone really well. They hired us for several private events in town too. The original Jennings clan knows how to throw down.

A guy asked for detailed pics, so I'll share them here too.
These were taken outside on a cloudy day. I didn't bother to wipe off smudges.
