A.S. #87 for sale. Aging but sprightly and witty owner (a TB stalwart who chooses to remain anonymous and wields extraordinary power) has decided to part with this amazing and funky bass. Excellent overall condition, ebony fingerboard, adjustable bridge, set-up to play at 42". All original including neck and tuners. Loud and deep enough to knock over a house. Perfect for Jazz, Bluegrass, Broadway, Slap, etc. You won't find a better A.S. anywhere. $5000 smackers. (Not a misprint, and worth every penny--eats Juzeks for breakfast.) BTW, this is a big bass with a big neck--dainty finesse players should probably look elsewhere...

The owner took it home--he missed it too much. If you're serious, I'll ask him if he still might part with it.
