Sorry for the cross post, but this thread wasn't supposed to be about the fact that they are "factory special runs," but about the fact that these are MIA, ash-bodied, hand-stained American Standards, and are brand new.

When I first saw them, my first though was 'crap. No 5-string.' I really do think they're very nice-looking. Uh... So maybe the lack of a 5ver is a *good* thing!
