This is an excellent American Standard plywood double bass used recordings & major Broadway shows for nearly 10 years. In excellent condition, all original with fingered C extension.
These are the Cadillac of plywood instruments-few carved instruments have this much sound at this price. Excellent road instrument.
    $5000 w/original soft case
Pictures are available. Will not ship-I'm in NYC.

$5000?? Did plywood suddenly get more rare? I heard of an import catalog that was listing a suggested retail price for a ply Hofner @ $6900, and the hybrid for $9000. Geez....

If it is, I'd better apologize for being a smart***....... I love Dwayne's playing. His stuff on Eric Reed's latest is so freaking tasteful...he and Peter Washington just swing harder than most. If it is Dwayne, say hi to Sharel for me.
