I have a Mesa MPulse 600. I don't use any effects at the moment. I need to 1) protect the amp and 2) make it easier to carry. No road gigs, local car transport only. Size/weight are very important, as I have a small car and bad back - I'd like it to be as small and light as practical. Suggestions on brand and size?

In the past, I've gone to sears and gotten one of their tool carriers. They're different then a tool box. They're lightweight plastic then I line it with foam to hold whatever I'm placing in it. They come in many dimensions. Check out the tool box section at Sears or a home center.

I have a Gator 4U case that I like alot.

You can get them with or without wheels and extending handle.
