Hey guys, I'm looking for a high-powered combo that would be used for medium sized gigs. It needs to have an active and passive input and a line out that can be used in tandem with the onboard speaker. Those are the main requirements, but any extra features would be good (on-board effects, etc...) It needs to be in the area of 400 dollars. Know of any good ones? Thanks for the help, Ryan
try a nice ampeg combo - they are pretty loud and come in a variety of speaker combinations and onboard effects and such here's some that id try from musiciansfriend - you could find em used somewhere for about 400 dollars if you look http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/compare?g=bass&base_pid=481785&base_pid=481723&base_pid=481831

Awesome! Thanks guys. Probably two tens. I like good clear highs. That would do it right? Really price to power ratio is more important right now, though. What do you think about this behringer? http://www.musiciansfriend.com/prod...uminum-Cone-Bass-Combo?sku=481093&src=3WFRWXX
Don't ask me about Behringer...Nothing but bad stories for me there. Most of the time, you get what you pay for...although there are some deals and some not worth the price at all.
