I today bought a new amp and head today. And when I connected it togethor I get a kind of dead sound with fuzz in it. I was wondering how to get rid of this. The cab is ULTRABASS BB410 and the head is ULTRABASS BX4500H.

    First things to check are:

    Speaker cable
    Instrument cable
Battery (if your bass has an active preamp).

Also, make sure your gain control (the volume control on the left side of the amp) is not turned up too much, which can lead to the preamp being overdriven.

If these are all OK, then it's unfortunately time to take the unit back to the store and have them check it out.

    Good luck.
