What do you guys recommend as a rig for a Warwick. They have such a distinct sound that I really want to try to find an amp that will compliment it.

  2. Try Ampeg or SWR I lean towards the Ampeg SVT sound wich is a little dirtier as opposed to SWR which is more hi-fi sounding

I'm using an Ampeg B4r (solid state) with mine and it sounds fantastic.

    Ampeg SVT-Pro preamp

    BagEnd D10B-D and S15B-D

Clean amp, clear cabs, the pre can go from grindy tubey to clear punchy mids to a round thumpy bottom.

I think a set up like this brings out the best in the hot pu'ps and dense wood.

I used a SWR the last time I played a Warwick, it sounded good. Also tried it on an Ampeg, that was just as good.
