I'm in the market for a new Amp. - I read a few posts on the SVT3-pro vs the B2r. Which one has the cleaner sound and lower noise floor? Which on is better for Jazz, funk, gospel? - Besides Ampeg, what's better for Jazz, funk, gospel in the 250 +/-50 watt range? - What I want most is sound. Deep, clean, low noise floor, reliable, musical, and flexible amp. (2 rack space). Is there such a beast? - What about an Alembic F-1x and a Stewart World amp combo? - What about a SWR Grand Prix and Stewart World amp combo? - Speaker? I'm getting a 2x10 w/horn. Any suggestions? - My current setup: Swr and Crown and Peavey 4x10. (All for sale)
Gosh, you've got a great preamp/poweramp/speaker combination. Is it a weight issue that is making you want to change? If you like the sound of your rig as is, get a lighter power amp and a Peavey 210. If you like the SWR sound, a Bass 350 head would be a good choice... Good luck!
You should try the EBS HD350 before you decide on anything. Based on my experience with that amp, you may not want anything else.
