I picked up an AH250 GP12 (made in '95) recently, and thought I'd stop by and gather the opinion of the fine folks of TB.

My existing setup is a Hartke VXL Attack Pedal through a Crown XLS 402 (300Wx2 @ 8ohm) amp.

I have my own opinion based on what my ears are telling me, but I'd like some external input.

Financially speaking, I'd like to sell one setup. I play primarily classic rock/southern rock.

By the way, I got a steal of a price on the Trace, so initially my thought was to sell it to make some cash. Now, I'm not sure.

Personally my all time favorite sounding amp was a trace elliot ah600smx. That thing just oozed awesomeness.

Is that basically the same as the AH250 SMX, just more power?

My AH350X has tons of clean power with a very adjustable and usable EQ.
Not tubey at all, but very powerful and VERY clean
