    Hi all,

I'm looking into purchaseing a amp and I could use some advise.

I currently own an old modified Ampeg G-412 en while it serves me well. I feel that it is having trouble handling my low B string.

For this new amp I'm drawn towards a seperate head and cabs, because of modular possibilities. Though this is where the wellknow problem arises: Money, I do not have very much of it at my disposal. Thus i'm searching for a head wich will give me the possibility power(for example) a 4x12" and a 1x15".

I was hoping some of you could give me some advice. Thanks in advance.

I think the best bass amp for the money is the kustom Groove Bass head... Its 1200 watts and has awesome tonal capabilities... You can find em on ebay for 500ish... I def. recommend this head... Good Luck!
