    I have an amp question?
    I have a peavey cs2000.
    2x8ohms 490 watts per channel
    2x4ohms 760 watts per channel
    2x2ohms 1,075 per channel
Can I run an 8ohm bass cab on channel A, and
    daisy 2 8ohm PA cabs (4ohms) on channel B?

  2. Yes,
Are you wanting to run your bass through one channel and the PA thorugh the other? If so, this shouldn't be a problem. The channels on the amplifier are separate, so it should be fine.

    Thanks Christov
I wasnt sure if the impedence on each channel needed to match.
I'm sure the lead guitar will HEAR ME tonight.

Electronically, it shoulden't be a problem. However (and I think this might just be an excuse not to pay), I have seen an amplifier's warranty void because of this use. I coulden't beleive it, but it happened. When I worked as a sound tech, we had many amplifiers running different power and impedance on each channel. Immagine a 2x12 + horn-driver side fill, using about 800 watts of bass at 4 ohms, + maybee 180 watts at 8 ohms for the highs.
