  1. hello,

    right now i have a peavey 70w 1x12..
my question is, is this enough for a smaller gig, i was looking into getting someting really big, and i looked around seeing that a marshall 4x12 only has 120w. am i reading this wrong, or what, wouldn't a 4x12 have a lot more..

can some one give me a site to look at some nice big amps or give me advice on different kinds or prices, deals ect...

    thank you

My wild and crazy guess is that the 4x12 is a guitar cabinet.

We need more information about your price range, style of playing, and size of venues you might be playing before we can give any logical advice.
  3. lol,,, it is a guitar amp, i just relized that, i was confused.. man i feel dumb, but my style is a hardcore / metal and venues are smaller, and price range is around 400.

I don't think you're going to be able to get a considerably large amp for $400. You might be able to buy a used head, but not a cab. (or the other way around)

Ampeg B100R is 100 watts, and would get you closer than what you're using now, but not a whole lot closer.

I'd save up, if I were you, though. :)
