I'm thinking of getting a new amp, and I obviously don't want to keep the old one? Whats amp resale like? Specifically the Fender Rumble 15W. Its practically new and theres nothing wrong with it. I just want to see how much I can get for a trade in

Go to Musicians Friend and find out what they sell for new.

Expect a store to give you 1/4 of that and sell it for 1/2 of new price.

You are probably better off keeping it.

Little to nothing, ESPECIALLY low wattage practice amps. To an individual you might get about $50 if you're lucky, I doubt a store will even take a trade-in, if you do, probably about $20 or $30.

I do retail in a music store one day a week. I'd offer you in the area of $25 for the amp.

  6. if you can get GC to take it they will give you anything else in the store at cost. :) which in your situation if you have the money could turn out very nicely
