Recently I was playing bass and I decided I would like to turn the drive up. When I was done I turned it back the whole way down and started playing again only this time there was a very slight distortion in the background. I don't know what to do please can someone help!
If you haven't messed with the volume knob in awhile there could be some dust or corrosion gathered in the pot. Try turning your amp off and twisting the knob from minimum to maximum and back for a dozen swipes or so. Sometimes that works to clean up a dirty pot.
