My main rig is an early 70's Ampeg v4 through an ampeg 810e. My band is recording this weekend, and I was wondering, would recording through a 410he give me the same tone?

Should. The 410HE is the closest things to an 810E cut in half.

If your mic'ing one speaker of the 410, it should be identical. It is the same 32 Ohm speaker used in the 810E. Both are sealed cabs.
