    i got the PR. it's a beast!
  4. after comparing both side by side i chose the pr410 hlf.i liked the h/d build quality, the better speakers and the sound suited my style of playing. (bring your amp + bass when auditioning the cabs).
the bxt series are great cabs if you have a "hi fi" bass rig. if you use seperate amp, preamp and processing this may be the cab for you because (soundwise) that is what they are designed for.a few guys around here use them in 2 cabinet biamped setups, usually a bxt 1/15 and a 410hl.
if you just want to use a 410 cab the 410svt classic is cool too.
whatever your choice, ampeg makes a good cab,you can usually get a good deal on a new one,and imho they sound as good (if not better) than the boutique-hi end cabs that cost a lot more $. easy to sell on the other end also.

I tried them both and liked the BXT better. The PR was just a little "hollow" to my ear. The BXT sounded like a cross between an SVT and a PR.
