I never thought I'd sell this, but I simply don't use it enough to warrant keeping such a majestic, historical amp. It's all there, and this might be one of the cleanest examples you will ever find. There is one tiny bit of tolex wear on one corner of one side. I have photographed that tiny spot.

I am the third owner and have owned it about 3 1/2 years. The second owner (who owned it for a very short time and bought it from the original owner, an 80 year old man in SC) told me that the power transformer may have been changed out decades ago (apparently that's pretty common in these). The power cord/cable was definitely changed to a 3 prong cable for sure.

The Ampeg logo lightbulb may be dying. Most of the time it lights up, but sometimes it goes out and then comes back on. Just need to add a new lightbulb there. Original square magnet speaker is all there and still sounds absolutely glorious. No weird rattles from the cabinet. This amp is dead quiet and fully operational. Seriously quiet. I sometimes use the Ext Amp out as a wonderful sounding tube DI.

What else can I say? This amp is the sound of the electric bass. Every recording from the early to mid 1960s and through the early to mid 1970s. And it just has that sound! This is a primo example of a mid '60s B-15N!!!

$3000 cash, local pickup only. PRICE DROP TO $2500 FOR QUICK SALE TO FUND MY DREAM BASS! No way am I going to ship this perfect specimen!!! I will include an adapter cable from Fliptops that allows you to plug this into a 1/4” speaker jack. This amp has been very well taken care of and loved over the years.

Here's a video of me playing the amp a few months ago:
