Ampeg B-328

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by cubeenz, Aug 9, 2001.

  1. Has anyone played the Ampeg B-328? (100w, 2 8" speakers, 57lbs.) It really appeals to me for a practice amp since it's smaller and lighter than my 75w Laney. Plus I love Ampeg sound. They don't have this amp at any of the stores here, so I haven't had a chance to try it, but I imagine it's pretty cool.

  2. I played an Ampeg B-3 (just the 15"er) for some time and it ROCKS. Killer tone, great controls, virtually indestructible, pretty light too (guess the 328 will be a lighter because of the two 8" drivers), and VERY loud for a 150W.

If you can get it at a nice price, BUY IT. You won't be disappointed.
