Mostly for home use and recording, maybe occasional jamming. Playing a Ric 4001v64.

The B15 is a bit cheaper. I'm a guitar player and recently added the bass for fun. Which has better tone? I expect either would need to be miked into a PA if any gigging opportunities arise. The B15 was used for guitar, an option I didn't consider until now.

Anyone familier with either of these, your thoughts are appreciated.

    Thanks

  2. I've played both . The first time I played a B15 it blew me away. In the studio it had the sweetest sound, overdrive and compression right at my fingertips. I recently fixed up a 1972 B25. It had tone and power similar to what I remember. The B15 is a 1 by 15 combo. very convienient. The B25 is a head. Both should work beautifly in the studio but would be underpowed for all but low volume gigs.
    Peace
