    What are you experiences with this head? I've been searching around heads and cabinets (4x10s), and I really like the features on this head. Unfortunately, none of the music shops around here carry Ampeg, so I'd like to hear more about this head... experiences, sound, etc.

    By the way, I'll be using a Precision Deluxe w/ flats if that helps any.

    Check on www.bassnw.com I think they have one new one for $599.00 in their "special sale items" section.I would jump on it for that price.Only one
    left I believe.

    Nah, I'm not ready to buy right now. And plus I haven't played through one yet, so I'm not just going to buy something I haven't heard yet.

    There's also one on ebay for $500.

    I tryed all the amps (Ampeg)one lonely night at GC.
    They have a wall display with all of them on it.The
    BR5 sounds good.
