Hey all you Ampeg BA115 users.... I was curious: what settings do you use on your amp to be able to be heard through a distorted guitar?

Also... what settings on your bass if you have active pickups?

I have a BA210 (basically the same thing) and play in a rock band (with distortion guitar:bassist: ). I use the 2nd wave setting and usually have something like bass=7, mid=6, high=7 (or lower). I find that this amp sucks for playing in a rock band because it needs more volume but i can't afford a new one. However i'd definately recommend it for starting out.

For the active EQ on my bass settings (SDGR 405), I turn the bass down a little from full, put mid around half way, and since the high does like nothing, i just put it down a little from full. I also put the pick-up setting around half between both but usually more towards the duller tone (closer to the bridge)
