Here's the deal, I am going on tour soon, playing 1000 seater venues nightly, and I need new cabs to pair with my GK800 that I use.

Originally I was going to get the Ampeg 610, but today I played through a 410 and a 15, which honestly is a better setup for me for portability, etc.

Do you guys have any opinions on which way to go, I need to buy the cabs this week, so any help is appreciated. I play in a rock band, and I'm pretty sold on Ampeg cabs.

610 or 410 plus a 15? Which way to go?

I'd try to get in contact with ampeg & see if you can get any kind of endorsement deal then I'd get an SVT 610 for the lows & a 210 for the highs.

Ampeg are notoriously tight with endorsements.

  4. They may be hard to find, but one cab will solve all of your problems.......

    The Ampeg SVT 1540HE

4X10 up top, 1X15 below. Cab can be bi-amped or run full range. I have one and it is great.
