I was looking at a SVT 4 Pro and a 8X10 classic enclosure and was wondering If they would match because I do not understand ohms and such. Thanks

  2. The SVT4 will do just about anything you want it to...If you bridge into the 810, you'll have the full 1200W in a wall of sound...

If I could afford it, I'd go with it's(IMHO)more versatile older brother...The SVT5Pro..It's not got as much power, but it's got combineable preamps, a sub octave, and one hell of a versatile eq section...(I'm biased here...but I believe in my bias so it's ok) It's got enough power to handle the 810, and to me, with the footswitch, you'd have a lot of tones at your ready disposal....

I actually played the Svt 5 Pro and havnet tried the 4 Pro but I was told by a guy that the 5 pro has 20% too much power and could blow the 810 classic cabinet.
