I know it's a long shot but, does anyone know what is the name of Ampeg font - the one with which the company name is written. The reason I want this font is that I'm building this effects pedal: flipster and as it is based on vintage Ampeg design I want it to have controls and the name of the pedal written in appropriate font. I tried google and various font finding searches and applications with no succes. Examples of the font in question:
The problem is that it was an art logo, not a font. That's not to say that someone hasn't approximated it in a font, but I doubt it.
