Up for sale is my brother's (guitarist) Ampeg Gemini II guitar amp. This is a killer sounding amp.

The amp is in surprising good condition for it's age. When we got it, it was covered in a thin layer of smoke residue, probably from decades of use in bars. Thankfully, it cleaned up really well. The amp was well taken care of. No signs of abuse. The handle is starting to come apart on one side. The "Ampeg" logo is missing from the grill.

The amp is original, except for a few small changes:

-After a nasty shock, we brought it to our local tech to have it change to a 3-prong power plug.

-Some of the electrolytic caps looked suspect so they were replaced.

-Our tech said it appears the 2 diode rectifier was upgraded to a 4 diode rectifier. He believes this may have been an official mod since there are two schematics online for this amp with each style rectifier. We found an old envelope inside the amp that have the original two diodes.

The original cover and dolly are included. The original hardwired footswitch is included and in good condition. Some of the original papers are included.

There are 2 Telefunken 12AX7 tubes in the preamp section. These are amazing sounding tubes.

The asking price is $700. Local only, no shipping.
We're willing to drive within a 2 hour radius of Vero Beach, FL.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
