Ampeg made a 4x12 cabinet?

  3. If the one you're inquiring about is the same one I had in my store not too long ago, it was actually a guitar cab and it had Celestions in it. Basic dimensions as the average 4x12 cab, with a slanted front. Oddly enough, the speakers were rated a 15 ohms. I dunno how that works...but it did have a great sound.

    they definitely made a 4x12 bass cab. it's probably more impractical to carry around then an 8x10. it's seriously deep and wide, straight front.

    huge sound! big blooming bottom end. not the resonant 8x10 sound, just big, warm, room filling lows.

    The slant-front cab is different, that was the cab for the VL series guitar amps designed by Lee Jackson.

    I sold it. I liked it very much, but I like my Bergie NV610 more...
