Ampeg PF800

    Hey everyone. This is my first post here. I'd like to start off by saying thanks as I've gotten a lot of information from this forum. So thank you all.!!

    I recently got the Ampeg PF800 Amp Head with the Ampeg PF-115HE 1x15 - 450 Watt Cabinet. Now my previous amp, which is a combo, Orange Crush 50BXT has a speaker input option. I wanna know if i can somehow use that amp as an extension cab. And if so, what would the routing and the power/ohm distribution be like.

    Dont do it, simple. you would be pumping 400 watts into a 50 watt speaker. Big no-no.

    You will go pretty loud as it is (make sure not too loud, otherwise your pf115he will blow).
    Maybe best to add another Portaflex cab and then you can go crazy loud!

    No can do - the 50 BXT has an 1/8" (aux in), which is meant for CD players or iPods, not an amp signal.
