I would like to replace my Warwick 611 Pro cabinet because for practical reasons.
    It's big and heavy.
At the same time I want better sound quality cabinet/cabinets.
    We play heavy metal/hard rock.
Currently I use an ENGL 1030 Rackhead as a power amp (500w/8ohm, 800w/4ohm).
    As preamp I use Tech21 GED-2112, Ampeg SVP-Pro.
    Recently I purchased a Kemper.
(It's is under experiment... perhaps will replace the preamps).
I use Spector basses (Rex4 Pro, Euro4 LX, Euro5 LX) in tuning D.

    What would the best choice/setup?
    Single 410 or stack?
Has anybody experience with these cabinets
(loudness, sound, how modern or vintage character)?

Thank you for answers and opinions!

I’ve owned all of the PN series cabs. I enjoyed the 410 as a stand-alone cab. It goes very low and the highs are nice and clear.

The PN115HLF x2 sounds stellar and I still own this setup. I also use a Tech21 preamp in front of my Ampeg heads.

    Thank you for answer!

Has the PN410 enough mids or it's mid-scooped? (I like the "growl" of my Spectors.)

And do you think is it enough (loud) as a standalone cab for us?
(2x guitarist, 2x all tube ENGL half stacks, loud drummer).

The PN-series are not mid-scooped at all. They are very transparent and easy to EQ. I think it would be loud enough--especially if you can push 400-500w thru the cab.

I have the PF-series PF115he and used to own the 210AV and they are definitely more mid-scooped than any other speaker I have used.

Nice to read something about the PN-series. These posts don't come by too often...:)

I agree...the PN-series still competes with the top of the line NEO-cabs out right now...and they have been out for years!

I have a PN-210 and PN-115 stack that is stellar. I’ve used the SVT410 and Mesa PH215 and it stacks up against them. Definitely lighter to carry and easy to EQ with my Mesa D800+ or my backup Markbass LMIII. I bought used at a killer price I’ve not seen since (it was a fire sale by a guy who needed to move them in a hurry).
