Ampeg Portaflex 500 (watt) used with a 450 watt Portafelx cab

    So how is it?
    a 500 watt watt paired with a 450 cabinet.
    --Never go past noon ( 5 on dial)

    8 ohm or 4 ohm cabinet?

    Your ears have to be your guide. EQ has a large bearing on the volume number. Dial numbers are only markers, not laws.

  6. I don't see any Portaflex cabs listed as being 4 ohms, only 8 ohms (PF-500 outputs 350 watts at 8 ohms).

    I have the PF500 into two cabs, 115HE and 210HE. Quite like it! And yes, it does get loud!
