Ampeg Portaflex fans...what is this?

    The cabinet is an Ampeg Olympian with 2x15s in it....and the head is a solid state Ampeg Portaflex.

    Can't quite tell from the pics, but my educated guess would be a B-15T.

    I would never want this for gigging. There are many compact, reliable, powerful, good-sounding units out there today.

    It may sound OK in the studio, but there are lots of good choices with modern equipment.

    Maybe a collector would want it? Where's Tom Bowlus?

    Yeah, I found this nearby to me and I wouldn't gig with it...I have a few rigs that just sit in my basement so I can look at them and wonder why I have them. Not sure I want to make the 3 hour trip to find out though.
