The local GC has a used Ampeg Pr1528hlf for $475.
    I beleve it's a discontinued model.
    It has 1 horn,2 8's and a 1 15 .
The 15 points down at a 45degree angle and exits through a port. The 8's and horn are front loaded.
I can't find a whole lot of info on this cab.
Does anyone have any first hand info on this?
I'll be using a 3pro to power at the present.
    Thanks folks.
    Bill

i have a pr1528he that i got off ebay several years ago. I like it--a unique cab. I bi-amp mine w/ either a hartke 5000 or with 2 AMP amps as I've posted before. I think the GC price is a tad high. personally, I would only buy this cab if you want to bi-amp. It sounds fine full range, but has no real advantages over other full range cabs. be aware it is deep and heavy. You can download the full manual from ampeg's website. another bassist here in madtown has the same cab and uses it for blues and it sounds fine--not sure if he bi-amps or not.

here's a previous post of mine w/ pics:
