Ampeg Pro-IV

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Roger Heroux, Apr 4, 2001.

  1. I would like to say thanks to all whom gave me advise. A big thanks to Ampeg support J.Hayess. My ProIV is OK. The mono Bridge is to much for my 4 ohms 2X10XLT Eden. But in stereo it will be safe for both. In larger gigs I'll use my Carvin 8 ohms 1X15 as well. I would like to get the 600 watt 4 ohms Carvin soon. ( sweet talk the wife! ) My dream would be to get the Ampeg 4X10 with a peak of 1200 watts. I use a low " A " which is 27.5 hz, this cab has a low harmonic of 27 hz.Iit should sound sweet. Thanks again to all!

Why not use the classic 8X10 setup?

Roger I agree with you in regards to JHayes at Ampeg. He has responded several times to me in regards to my SVT4. I am very happy with mine. I use 2 4x10HLF Ampeg with my SVT4. Cant beat the sound.

As for my wife, I find letting her know that i am listening gets further than the sweet talking.
    See Ya
