Ampeg Replacement 15" speaker?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by sleepy_monkey, Apr 1, 2009.

  1. I need a 4 ohm replacement for a SVT1540-HE. Wasn't sure what was taboo or if I need a certain driver.

I have no idea about airspace and all of that, but I am pretty certain the SVT1540 is two separate sealed cabinets essentially.

There is a 4 ohm in the classifieds but waiting to hear if I am getting it or now.

    Thanks in advance!

  4. I bought a 4ohm 15 from Parts Express last year to replace my 8ohm 15 in my 115e cab. I can't remember the model number right now but posted it here...do a search....also here's the website (awesome service and tech advice):

    Hope that helps some.
