Ampeg Rig! (Pictures)

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by KeithBMI, Mar 10, 2006.

  1. I had an Ampeg SVT-410HLF but I had no head to power it.

Today I went and got one!

    Behold... an Ampeg SVT-3Pro!

450 watts with a tube pre. I went to GC with my guitarist and drummer. The guitarist bought a Fender Strat, and I got this. We jammed right after.

We all sounded better than ever.

Sweet! In just a few days I'll be trying this head myself with my SVT410-HLF. I think this is a sure thing combination.

Sweeeeeet, Look strikingly familiar to what I play.:D

  5. It kept up with 2 guitarists and a drummer at "5"

These two things were made for each other. It's a great combo IMO.

One of my favorite rigs. I was never a huge fan of Ampeg gear (with exception of the SVT/810 rig) until hearing this setup.

    Nice.

Nice rig dude, I got the chance to play through that same head and a goliath III 4x10, sounded awesome.

  12. If I clip the pre-amp section, will it hurt the speakers if I am clipping tubes?
