Ampeg Subblaster; Is there a good clone on the market?

    Title says it all, really;I am quite sure that the sub blaster is my favourite octave.
    I also am aware that it is no longer being made and super heavy, so not all too practical, in case one would find one.

    My question; is there a clone of this pedal on the market( maybe with sensible improvements made -I hear, for example that on the original, the octave does not even reach unit gain...?)?

    Ampeg only made about 1000 of them & i had an original back in the day. i liked it a lot, but like you said, it had a hard time just getting up to unity gain, so i built myself a clone of it with a 10db boost on the output.
