I just purchased a svp preamp. I got it off ebay. When I plugged it in it worked fine for about 30 minutes. There was a pop and the peak/mute light turned red and now no sound. Just a hum. I dont know much about this stuff and dont want to get ripped off by a repair guy if I might be able to fix it myself
    Thanks:confused: :bawl:

  5. The SVP-PRO has a five-year transferable warranty. I suggest you take it to a shop and have it checked out.

I had to put a new tube in one that did the same thing. Now it's as good as new. Just make sure it's the right tube.

  8. so you also posted this in amps? thread closed. double posting is a no-no here.
