I just bought an Ampeg Heritage SVT CL and am waiting for it to arrive. I am pairing it with 2 PN 210 cabs(stacked). However, I realized that the width on the PN cabs are about 2.5 inches smaller than the CL. Has anyone paired this head and cabs? If so, any problems stacking them together?

  2. Different amp, but my new Traynor YBA300's wider than my (2) AE112's I sometimes use it with, so I put 4 new rubber 'feet. On it. slightly smaller height than the stock ones & placed further in towards the center.
    Works for me.

Looking at the pics of the head, it looks like the rubber feet are at least 2 inches from the edge, so hopefully, it will sit on the speaker cab. However, good to know I can just replace the rubber feet if not.

  4. FWIW, I left the original 'feet' on there(so there're 8 feet on it now :) The newer ones I put on are JUST a TINY bit shorter in height than the original ones on the outside, so that when it's sitting on a bigger cab, it sits on its original feet.

You may want to either make or purchase 2 wedge type braces to help provide some stability as the PN210HLF's are angled to use as monitor wedges. With a heavy tube head it may provide a little peace of mind.

Another thing you might want to try is sitting the SVT on the floor and putting the cabs on top of it. I've done that with my SVT and two SVT 210av cabs. Makes an even taller stack, still does the floor coupling thing, and I quite enjoyed it that way.

  7. +1. Done that many times.

Do you have a pic of your rig? Also, how is the sound of the CL with the PNs together?

No Bassman .....no pics as of yet.....I've not had it that long but as far as sound.........I think u will be very pleased with any of the pro neo offerings ......as I have said in other posts I have all of the pn cabs and have liked them separately and together. They are very clear sounding and pack a lot of wallop....and with that svt u hear every little nuance of your playing. It is definitely a different vibe than the standard svt/810 but I personally wanted to go in a different direction.I don't have 2 of the 210's though.....I sit mine on top of the pn115 .The 210 does have a wedge and sits pretty squarely but I haven't stacked 2 on top of one another so anyway......the pn series are killer cabs....the heritage svt is a killer head....how could u go wrong? This is my longest post ever ............lol

Well, my CL arrived today. I love it! It sits right on top of my PNs without any concern of falling over. This thing has some serious power! The only thing I was not prepared for is it's weight. Here is a pic:

The weight's a small price to pay for owning a Heritage SVT. Nice!
