I'm late, but this is some good stuff, man! Sounds great, and the songs are cool. What are your settings on the second song?

  7. I missed this post back in April. It's not the kind of music that I typically listen to but I found the tracks delightful. The bass lines were beautiful in their tasteful simplicity. Each was just what the tune needed with no overplaying. Without any condescension: well done!!!. :D

    P.S. I bought the album!

Thanks! Don't remember exactly what I had it set to, but I usually run the EQ pretty flat, maybe a hair past 12 in the bass and mids, normal channel 1 input, all switches off. The VR sounds beautiful as is - not much tweaking needed!

Thanks for the praise, and the purchase! I definitely try to keep my lines pretty minimalist, especially since my band's guitarists are in love with their dotted eighths, reverbs, etc., which tend to take up a lot of room.
