i am recording with my amp and was wondering if it would hurt my amp if i was to unplug the speaker from the amp ( i am using the direct out in the back ) this amp has no power tubes so i am thinking it should not hurt it...

my reason for asking is we are recording a demo and we have everything in one room, me and the guitar player are going direct for the demo and all of the drums are miked up in the same room and we dont want any bleed over to go into the drum tracks. will add the cabinets later on...

    thanks in advance...

you won't have any problems running your SVT3 without a speaker cab. Like you said, it has a solid state power amp section, which don't have a problem running without a load.
