I'm resurrecting this thread with revisions. Please come to beautiful east Tennessee and take this amazing rig off my hands. I am going a different route with amp/cabs and need to sell. Ampeg V-4B; reissue of the classic Ampeg amp in mint condition. All tube, 100 watts. Usable at 2, 4, and 8 ohm loads. DI out. This amp has been babied and only has a handful of hours on it, very low usage. - $775 + shipping <I would consider a trade for a comparably valued 5-string bass> **SOLD** Bergantino NV610; 750 Watts Power Handling @ 4 Ohms, 6-10" woofers with vented pole pieces, power handling -- 750, watts rms, impedance: 4 Ohms, dimensions: 36H x 24W x 15D, weight: 98 lbs, tilt back casters. Older carpeted model, but in fantastic condition. Comes with the padded Bergantino slip cover. **SOLD** No trades at this time. Prefer local pickup in the Knoxville / east Tennessee area. I'm willing to drive a bit to meet a TB member, but shipping is possible at buyer's expense. PM me and we can hatch a plan.
I know you said "no trades" but let me run this by you and see if it perks your interest. I have been in the market for a used REISSUE V-4B
...sorry ....at a reasonable price . I also own a Berg. CN212 weighing in at 46lbs. It has a modern tone and I'm looking for something with a fatter vintage tone, yet still light weight. Anything in thos scenario that looks intersting to you? I live in Nashville and would have no problem with the treck to K town.
BUMP! I have this same set up, and I just gotta say... it's one hell of a combo! They look great together too! SVTs and OG V4s look kind of awkward on top of bergs IMO but the RI is slightly narrower and shorter so it fits perfectly. I only wish there was an easy way to get matching grill cloth on the cab, sigh. GLWTS
I don't need it, but just wanted to comment that this head and cabinet combination must sound killer.
