I really havent read anywhere in TB of users gigging their V4 through a 410 cab.

As I wait for my V4 to come home next week, I am wondering if anyone uses this combo?

I did, at first. Now I'm using a 115, 210 combo. Much better to my ears. Though, the 410 should be fine. See what you think when you get the head. Nice choice, btw.

I played mine through an Ampeg B series 410HE cab. The cab is only about 200watts @ 8 ohms, but it sounded great. That cab got away from me a few months ago (long story). If I could find another American made Ampeg B410HE, I'd be all over it.

I have never really been much of a 410 guy (always 210, 610 or 810) so I have not yet tried this combo. However, I will be on Wednesday. There is this awful house system (SWR) and I despise playing through it...literally the worst sounding amp I have ever played. So I will bring my V4BH to use trough their 4x10. I can report back later in the week as to how it works with the 410.

    I have a V4BH.

    For me, I prefer a 6x10, a 1x15, or a 2x15 cab.

    I'm into old school, retro-tone.

A 4x10 to me, works great with a more modern sounding head.
