    Hello again,
I just bought a Hughes&Kettner BC118, and I need to get an amp to run the beast!
Its 400W running at 8 Ohms..
What does the amp need to have to be able to run it properly??(I'm very new to all this) :)

well..you would need a quiet powerfull amp...that can drive at least 400W at 8ohm to that cab...and i'm pretty sure you are not just gonna use one cab, you will be using something else...so lets say 800W@4ohms...

There is ppl here with tons of knowledge they'll tell you better...

But one question where did you get it? how much did it cost ya?

I'm just going to use this one cab. I tried it out a couple of days ago, and fell in love with the sound!!

I bought it second hand for half of the retail price, which here in Norway is 787,84 U.S. Dollar.

Can't I get by with less than 800W?? That sound alot to me..But who am I to say :p
