Maybe I'm asking for too much? I'm looking for amps (heads or combos) with aux in for silent practice ability, as well as footswitchable enhancer/contour/compressor. One head that comes to mind is the Eden wtx264 (enhancer channel) and as for a combo the TC electronic BG250's have these practice features as well programable effects which are footswitchable. I'm curious to know if there are any other options out there. OD is useless for my style of playing and that's what is the most common under this criteria but I've always taken advantage of on board compressors and well, a footswitch would just be so convenient. Thanks for looking.

An amp with aux in is easy, there are many practice amps that have that feature. Some amps have built in digital effects that can be chained together to provide a boost, EQ, and compression. But that can also be achieved with an external pedal. When you move on to a new amp, you can take the effects with you. On the higher end are the Eventide H9 or the Line6 Helix. But there are less expensive alternatives.

The TC BH250 head has the same features. The only thing I'd say against it for 'silent practice' is that the fan comes on even when you're only driving headphones (which is why mine is now up on eBay, as it happens)...

There a lots of amps that have preset eq settings and built in compressors. Sometimes switchable. Not many installed enhancer circuits.
Often the foot switch you need is an optional accessory so keep that in mind for your budget. The price difference between getting an amp with the features and switching capabilities you need vs an amp and a pedal might not be much but for simplicity and variety it’s hard to beat TC and their Toneprints.
