    Anyone else confused by this?

    This is the tag on my Harley-Davidson jacket.

    Made in China?!

    Don't want to know. Price tag was $365, I didn't pay anywhere near that.

    Basically, I wanted one just so people know I paid as much as I did for my bike and not $3000 for an import lookalike :)

    I guess it's like making sure people know you're playing a Fender and not a Squier, etc. etc.

    Most auto parts are now made in China. Even the name brand stuff is nothing more that reboxed Chinese stuff.

    And there is a difference. The Chinese stuff is junk.

    it is not superior though .

    they will take over the world one day with their bargains.
