I was just listening to the album "Dancing On Coals" by the band BANG TANGO. The bass player(Kyle Kyle) is very underrated. I've never heard anyone ever talk about him. He's got a very unique slap style & his solos are very catchy. I highly recommend getting this album or down-loading it off of the Internet. It was one of those albums that really inspired back in the early 90's.

I'm gonna say what 95 other views did not say.
I have no idea who you are talking about!

  3. More details on Bang Tango?

*I've* never heard of them - what kind of stuff did they do, did they have any hits, etc??

In understand that most people haven't heard of them. They were a Major label rock band back in the late 80's early 90's. Their guitarists sounded like a mix between Steve Vai & Tesla, But there bass player awesome. I remember listening to their CD back in 1991 while going to some parties & was blown away by his unexpected Bass Solo's.
Their CD is called "Dancing on Coals"
You wouldn't think that there would be some cool bass playing in this kind of music. But the guy slaps really well. He tought me a few things when I first heard him & inspired me, so I wanted to share it with everyone on here. I think it's worth checking out.
