What about between a Warwick Corvette Custom with MM/J Bartolini pickups and a Fender American Std P-bass?
  2. How much do they cost?
  3. I'd say the Warwick, just because those pickups would give you more versatility in terms of sound. You probably wouldn't be able to get an EXACT Pbass sound with it, but you could get pretty close, and you could do some things a PBass simply couldn't do very well. Although I'm biased, because I already own a pbass (3 actually) and I don't think I'd want another.

    Warwick 1600 euros
    Fender 1550 euros
  5. An American Series P-Bass shouldn't cost that much... You should be able to get a Custom Shop bass for that price!

I'm playing classic rock, hard rock & heavy metal.
Do you think that P-bass is the right for that kind of music?
