The only brands that I can think of, off the top of my head, that begin with an 'S' are:

    Sadowsky
    Samick
    Spector
    Status
Squier (I know, you said it wasnt a Squier)

I dunno, Im sure Im forgetting plenty of popular manufacturers. Sorry if Im no help.

Don´t worry, it´s not you that´s failing to provide the help, it´s the original poster who failed at providing us useful information in order to help him.

Why - surely you can just look at the headstock when you get it?

Or just ask your "friends wifes brother", rather than asking thousands of people on the net to guess!!!

Does this win the award for most pointless thread ...and least coherent? ;)

Great use of the Information Super Highway!! So rather than talking to the one person who knows something - you ask thousands who can't possibly! :D

I saw a stand-up comedian talking about this very thing (net generation) last night and he was saying that what really worries him is that what goes on in real-life nowadays is funnier than anything he could make up! ;)
