.............for all you haters to flame away!!
That dude is one heck of a showman! I enjoyed that seriously old school vibe, and the drumming was tight too.
That was pretty cool. I like the bass cam!
That was pretty f'ing tight all 'round.Very Marcus...................I like
Very tasteful, great tone for slap. I don't usually like slap that much, but I can appreciate that. Hahaha- especially the short mary had a little lamb part.
Ahh, but there's music there, not like in a lot of these threads.
Between this guy Tetsuo Sakurai, Narucho, and whoever the beassist is for T-Square i'm about ready to say that the Japanese are the most tasteful slappers of this time...
I bet that guy gets all the japanese school girls.
Believe me they 'woodshedded' on Larry Graham and Marcus Miller!! And the Japanese strive for perfection and settle for nothing less! The only thing they lack, IMHO, is the soul of the style! But having said that, they do get deep into it (all music) and enjoy playing it so much that it shows in their performances! I've never seen people so happy when they play!
He's great and he's playing Hartke stuff, cool!!
Great stuff! And all of that done on a neck with tight spacing. I have no more excuse not to break out my Fortress 5 as my main slapper.
Does that guy pop at all? Or is it all slapping. Hard to tell he's so fast.
That bit where he puts his plucking fingers up his nose and goes back to playing is likely a pretty sure fire way to keep other people from playing your bass.
I hear more Mark (King) than Marcus...
He's got some serious skills and is having Big Fun - that's a hard combination to beat!
it was good and fun, but defintely didn't need to be longer 90 seconds
He made me think of Mark King too.
I actually thought of Scott Ambush. I don't hear any resemblance of Mark King. Most definitely not his sound!
