Hey everybody, This is my first video playing fretless. I just got a fretless neck made for my Benavente Standard, and I thought I'd show it off

    Enjoy!

Use your ears and positioning technique--- not your eyes.

Much better to watch the sheet music, conductor, band leader, or chicks.

    Not the neck.

i'm usually playing songs with no sheet music and no conductor... I've only had a fretless for a few weeks now so I'm still kinda relying on the lines, but starting to feel more comfortable without looking. Most of my bands songs I still play on my fretted so I'm not such a neck ogler =p

P.S. I notice Andy McKee is giving his fretboard just as much attention, hehe

Perhaps you should take your own advice and listen with YOUR ears instead of your eyes. He's playing sounds very nice, and he can use his ears, hands, AND eyes to aid in it- who cares what he does to accomplish this. You don't get extra points for working harder to accomplishing the same thing.
